What if my boyfriend dont text me what do i do?

okay well me and my boyfriend have been dating for a week and a couple days now... and bfor he would always text me in the morning because he would have to drop his sister off at school and he would also text me in the afternoon and stuff. but his sister got out of school last tuesday.. so yesturday he didnt text me in the morning at all.. so i just waited. but then after, he didnt text me at all. i asked my friend for advice and she said to just text him and i did.. i texted him and we were okay and he said sweet things to me like he asked me who is your boyfriend and i said wow i thought you were my boyfriend and he said i am your boyfriend. and then after he said that he was with the girl he loves and i said whos the girl and he said i was... but then yesterday i texted him back late at night and he didnt write back so im guessing he fell asleep. but today i didnt get no messages from him at all and i went online to get advice and i read that the girls should wait for the guy to text them so the guys wont think that the girl is to clingy... (also were suppose to hang out next week) what should i do?? please i need answers ASAP :'(
